Former Australia test captain Ricky Ponting has re-signed with the Hobart Hurricanes in the Twenty20 Big Bash League.
Ponting was with the Hurricanes last season but international commitments reduced his playing time to one match.
The 37-year-old Ponting, who retired from limited-overs cricket after being dropped from the Australian one-day squad in February, is still part of Australia test squad.
The Hurricanes, whose lineup includes England’s Owais Shah, begin play Dec. 9 in Brisbane.
