Strokosch injures teammate while celebrating
Scotland flanker Al Strokosch has vowed to go easy on his celebrations after injuring, teammate, Joe Ansbro in the aftermath of their win over Australia.
An ecstatic Strokosch accidentally head-butted Ansbro when Scotland's players mobbed Greig Laidlaw after the fly-half slotted the winning kick in the 9-6 triumph over the Wallabies in Newcastle on Tuesday.
This left the wing needing several stitches to a cut above his eye although he is expected to be fit for Scotland's clash with Fiji on June 16.
Strokosch who just needed four stitches to his head wound explained that his celebrations would be more subdued if Scotland were victorious during the rest of their tour of the South Pacific.
"Apparently I split him to the bone," Strokosch told Skysports.
"We are hard in Scotland - this is how we celebrate.
"I have officially retired from any form of smiling or celebrating!"
