Cesar reveals Tottenham talks
Julio Cesar's agent has revealed that Tottenham are amongst the clubs to have held talks about signing the Inter Milan goalkeeper.
However, the Brazil international has moved to deny a post on Facebook, apparently made by him on Tuesday, claiming he is on the verge of leaving the San Siro.
He confirmed to Sky Sports Italia: "I want to point out that I never made any statement on my future. I absolutely deny giving the quotes that appeared, as it was not my Facebook page.
"If I have anything to tell the fans, then I will want to do it personally."
Cesar would appear to have slipped down the pecking order at Inter following the recent arrival of Slovenia international Samir Handanovic from Udinese.
The 32-year-old's representative, Josias Cardoso, has confirmed negotiations with a number of clubs, Spurs included, although he emphasised there have been no official approaches as yet.
Cardoso told Tuttosport: "He remains at Inter Milan - he doesn't want to go to Brazil and the market is just closed there.
"Some clubs contacted us but we asked them to contact Inter Milan, the club that own his rights. There is nothing certain yet. There are talks with Tottenham, but the English club has not yet made official steps."
