Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has indicated he may return to the transfer market one last time before the window closes.
Robin van Persie completed his move from Arsenal on Friday to join new arrivals Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell at Old Trafford during the off-season.
However, the left-back position remains a concern for Ferguson as he lacks cover for Patrice Evra, and the Scot could be forced to make another addition to his squad due to an injury crisis in defence.
Everton defender Leighton Baines continues to be linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams as the decorated manager ponders his options in the market.
"I think that is maybe it [in terms of signings this summer]," Fergie told MUTV. "Maybe in one other position.
"We have spent a big amount of money and, if I need to go to the owners, I am sure they would say 'yes'. But it's only if a certain player would become available."
