Spurs sign Lloris from Olympique Lyonnais
Tottenham have completed the signing of France no. 1 goalkeeper Hugo Lloris from Lyon on a four-year deal worth a reported £8m, rising to £12m with add ons.
A brief statement on the club's official website read: "We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Olympique Lyonnais for the transfer of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
"The France international captain began his senior playing career with Nice in 2005, where he made 72 appearances before departing for French champions Olympique Lyonnais, where he clocked up 146 league appearances, twice winning the Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year award.
"The 25-year-old captained his country for the first time in November 2010 against England at Wembley and currently holds 38 caps."
