Maicon could leave Inter, says agent
Maicon's agent has revealed that the Inter Milan defender has "several offers" on the table as he considers his future at the San Siro.
The Brazil international has enjoyed a successful stint with the Nerazzurri since his arrival from French outfit Monaco in July 2006, winning a number of trophies including four consecutive Serie A titles and the Champions League three years ago.
Maicon, who has 12 months left on his Inter contract, made 24 league appearances for the club last season as they finished just outside the European places in seventh despite struggling for most of the campaign.
But the 30-year-old right-back could be ready to end his six-year association with the Milan giants after his representative, Roberto Calenda, claimed there is some interest in Maicon, who was linked with a move to Paris St Germain in January.
"After six years, it could be that the time has arrived for a change of scenery for Maicon," Calenda told Sky Sport Italia.
"Maicon has had a beautiful love story with Inter, that has lasted a long time. But like any love story at some point it may come to an end.
"There are several offers but we will evaluate them."
