Paulinho repels Inter interest
Brazil international Paulinho has stated his wish is to remain at Corinthians, despite reported interest from Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old has been strongly tipped with a move to Serie A, with the Nerazzurri among the clubs eager to acquire the midfielder's services.
"Corinthians are doing everything they can to keep me," Paulinho told Inter's official club website.
"I want to remain here and I hope that my future is resolved as soon as possible so that I can play without having any distractions.
"Inter have not spoken directly with me but they have spoken to my representatives. I want to reward Corinthians for their willingness to keep me.
"Wherever I go, I will nevertheless win. It's not a money issue, I just want to play football."
Paulinho joined Corinthians from lower league club Bragantino two years ago and has excelled in the Brazilian top flight, helping them win their first ever Copa Libertadores title earlier this month.
