Cavani rules out Napoli exit
Napoli star Edinson Cavani has pledged his continued loyalty to the Serie A club amid reported interest from the Premier League's elite.
The 25-year-old striker has caught the eye after plundering 33 goals in each of his first two seasons at the Stadio San Paolo since arriving from Palermo in July 2010.
English champions Manchester City and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea have both been credited with an interest in Cavani, who is currently in the country on Olympic duty with Uruguay.
However, the South American ace insists he is not interested in leaving Partenopei, although he has not ruled out a move to England in the distant future.
"Are the big Premier League clubs looking at me? My response can only be Forza Napoli!" he told Il Mattino newspaper.
"It is said that English football is art, why not think about it one day if there is that possibility?"
Cavani went on to dismiss claims that he was considering quitting the Naples outfit after his wife had been mugged in the city, with the thieves having relieved her of a watch worth ?18,000.
"The men who attacked my wife were not Napoli fans, not the kind I have learned to know and appreciate in these years," he said.
"This incident certainly won't make me move away from under the shadow of Vesuvius."
