SIYANDA Xulu will have to wait a little while longer to make his debut for Russian Premier League side FC Rostov.

The Bafana Bafana defender was not included in the match day squad for the 1-0 home win over Dinamo Moscow on Sunday.

Coach Miodrag Bozovic has decided he will introduce the 20-year-old to the first team slowly and allow him to settle in on and off the pitch before thrusting him in to the starting line-up.

Xulu, who has been handed the number 55 jersey at the club, might be involved in the league game against Spartak Moscow next weekend. If not, he is likely to play in the Russian Cup clash with third-tier side Astrakhan on September 26.
