Highly rated midfielder Sifiso Myeni said he realised a life-long dream by signing for defending treble champions Orlando Pirates.
The pacy winger joined the Buccaneers from Wits on transfer deadline day, and although he said it was not an easy decision to leave the Students, he feels the move to Soweto was in the best interests of his career.
"It has been my dream to play for Pirates and finally I have joined them. It was not an easy decision to make but after talking to my family, I decided that Pirates would be the best move for me," he told the club's official website.
Meanwhile Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza, who also unveiled new signing Thandani Ntshumayelo from SuperSport United on Tuesday, added: "(Myeni) is a good player. We engaged Bidvest Wits late last year to try and work something out to get his services.
"Today I am proud to unveil him as an Orlando Pirates player. We have some tough challenges ahead, mainly with the domestic as well as the Champions League. Players of his calibre can only add to value to the club."
Myeni will have just over two weeks to prove his fitness, with Pirates set to resume their PSL title defence against Black Leopards at the Orlando Stadium on February 15.
