Former Bafana defender Katza retires
Former South Africa defender Ricardo Katza has retired after SuperSport United decided against renewing his playing contract.
The 34-year-old, capped 19 times for Bafana, has taken up an administrative role with the Nedbank Cup champions.
Katza, a one-time Matsatsantsa skipper, made over 150 appearances for the Tshwane giants.
He previously played for Cape duo Hellenic and Seven Stars, making his debut for the latter in 1998.
