THULANI Serero scored his second goal of pre-season when he gave Ajax Amsterdam the lead in their 8-0 victory over minnows VV Noordwijk on Saturday.
The Bafana Bafana playmaker featured in another 60 minutes for his side and scored with a powerful drive that had the beating of the home goalkeeper.
It follows his goal 10 days ago against Odendaal and he has now played in all four pre-season games.
Darren Keet put in another assured performance for his Belgian side Kortrijk as they defeated Dutch outfit ADO Den Haag.
The match provided further evidence that Keet will be handed the No1 jersey at Kortrijk this season, after having to sit on the bench for much of the last campaign.
Daylon Claasen and Lance Davids were still missing for Lierse as they won 1-0 against Mechelen, while Kamohelo Mokotjo was also missing for Feyenoord through injury as they beat BVV Barendrecht 1-0.
In league action in Sweden, May Mahlangu returned to the starting line-up for champions Helsingborg, who laboured to a 1-0 home win over Syrianska with the winner coming in the 93rd minute.
Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana striker Davide Somma has suffered a setback in his quest to return for English Championship side Leeds United.
Somma was out for the entire 2011/12 campaign after injuring his knee in pre-season and his poaching instincts were sorely missed by club and country.
"I can't see Davide Somma being available until September or October. I can't see him starting anything really until the end of August," said Leeds manager Neil Warnock.
