Ajax Cape Town look set to lose new recruit Bradley Grobler, despite having announced the signing of the striker a little under a month ago.
Grobler arrived in the Mother City after a year with Turkish side Goztepe SK where he started 23 games, scoring six times.
The 23-year-old had secured the overseas move after an impressive four-year spell at Platinum Stars.
But despite seemingly signing a deal with the Urban Warriors upon his return to South Africa, Ajax PRO Shooz Mekuto revealed Goztepe have since decided to keep their most expensive signing ever.
Mekuto told MTNFootball: "There are two sides to every transfer.
"What happened was that we contacted the club and we made an offer for him [Grobler].
"It was all agreed upon but then they changed their minds, which is normal in football and they are entitled to do that.
"I think his agent is up their now trying to sort some things out. I don't know what will happen but we have faith."
Grobler has since returned to Turkey to train with Goztepe ahead of any new potential arrangement.
