Kaizer Chiefs will be without Jimmy Jambo and George Lebese when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the opening round of the MTN8 this weekend.
The duo both picked up injuries in Amakhosi's Carling Black Label Cup defeat to Orlando Pirates on Saturday, with Chiefs physiotherapist Dave Milner confirming both players be out for three weeks.
"Jambo (has a) minimally displaced nasal bone fracture seen on CT scan while Lebese is out with a knee injury," he told the club's official website.
Bernard Parker also picked up a slight knock in the pre-season friendly against the Buccaneers and will be monitored closely over the next few days.
Meanwhile, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Jimmy Tau remain long-term absentees as the players continue to recover from their respective injuries.
