Orlando Pirates coach Augusto Palacios is expected to have a fully fit squad to choose from when they kick off the new PSL season against Golden Arrows this weekend.
The Buccaneers have been sweating over the fitness of Oupa Manyisa after he dislocated his elbow in the MTN8 quarter-final victory over Bloemfontein Celtic last Friday.
However, the midfielder returned to training on Monday and should be fit for the curtain-raiser.
"I initially thought that Oupa's injury was serious but medical results suggest that it was nothing serious," Pirates physiotherapist John Williams told the club's official website.
"He did some work in the gym this morning with the rest of the guys and he seems to be okay.
"He is doing normal training but we will continue monitoring how he responds to training along the week - the way he dislocated his elbow looked serious from where I was standing, but he feels fine."
Thabo Matlaba has also been nursing an ankle injury, although the knock was a minor one and the full-back should be ready for action on Friday.
