IT SEEMS Barcelona forward Lionel Messi's football talents know no bounds.
A day after scoring his 50th goal of the season for the Catalan club, the 24-year-old showed off his skills between the posts during a training session on Monday.
Barcelona captain Carles Puyol tweeted a picture of the Argentina striker making a full-stretch save accompanied by the caption: "I have seen everything now. Even as a goalkeeper he does well this little phenomenon."
Messi followed his five-goal burst in the European Champions League last week, with two more strikes in Sunday's 2-0 victory at Racing Santander to move within five goals of matching the all-time club scoring record held by Cesar Rodriguez.
The Argentina forward scored seven goals last week, but remains humble about the praise coming his way and has, instead, said none of it would be possible without the guidance of manager Pep Guardiola.
"Guardiola is more important to Barca," Messi said.
"His arrival changed everything, for the players and for the club. Everything that has been achieved was achieved with him. Guardiola is fundamental to Barcelona's project."
