Barca starlet ends Liverpool talk
Cristian Tello has declared his intention to remain at Barca amid speculation he could move to Liverpool during the current transfer window.
The 20-year-old forward caught the eye after an impressive debut season for Barca in which he scored seven goals in 22 appearances, earning him a call-up to Spain's Olympic squad as a result.
The Reds have been linked to Tello as they look to bolster their squad for a renewed push for Champions League football next season following a dire eighth-placed finish in the Premier League last term.
However, the Spanish starlet has pledged his loyalty to the Catalan giants, insisting he has no plans to leave the Nou Camp any time soon for Anfield or anywhere else.
"I still have a deal with Barca and I intend to spend many more years at this club," Tello said.
"I am convinced that this is the right place for me and that I wouldn't be happy at another club."
