Seven-time Grand Slam tennis champion Justine Henin is expecting her first child.
The retired Belgian player announced on Wednesday on her Facebook page that she is pregnant and the baby is due in March.
Henin says she and her partner Benoit Bertuzzo “have some nice news to announce. Yes, soon there will be three of us.”
The former top-ranked player retired for the first time in 2008. She made a comeback in 2010 and retired for good the following year because of an elbow injury.
Henin won four French Opens, two US Opens and one Australian Open.
